Visit to Santa

We went to see Santa on Friday. Sammy would not go anywhere near him, and Mackay screamed when we sat him on Santa's lap. So we just got this one picture this year. Only five days left till Christmas!!!

Jayson's Wedding

My brother Jayson got married on Thursday. It was a beautiful weeding, in spite of all the snow that tried to stop us from getting there. Here are some pictures of our family at the reception.

Birthday Week

This week we celebrated Sam and Sammy's birthdays. Sammy turned 4 years old. We had a fun party with lots of family and friends crammed into our small kitchen. Sam and I celebrated his birthday by going to the Body Worlds exhibit downtown. It was really cool. Thank you to everybody who came and for all the fun gifts. We love you.

So Sammy saw this snake cake that he really wanted me to make for him. The one we saw was green and yellow but Sammy wanted a black and red snake, so it kind of turned out looking like a leech. At least it tasted good.

Trip to the Zoo

The boys and I went to Hogle Zoo with my sister Maria and her daughter Kelli a few weeks ago.

The kids had tons of fun, but Kelli and Mackay were a little terrified of the carousel. Drew and Sammy can't wait to go back.

Halloween

Happy Halloween!! Our family had a fun little Star Wars theme going on this year. Drew and Sammy were clones from the new Clone Wars movie. Mackay was the cutest little Yoda I have ever seen. We had lots of fun and got way too much candy.

Gardener Village

Our family went to see the witches at Gardener Village today. The kids wouldn't really hold still for pictures, but I managed to get a few decent ones. Grandma Hill bought everybody these giant pumpkin sugar cookies, what a mess.

Fall in Logan Canyon

We drove up the canyon last week with Sarah and Leigha to look at the leaves. The colors are amazing up there. The kids had so much fun and we got some great pictures. This was just about ten minutes away from our house. We love being so close to the canyon. I'm going to miss this place so much. Our family is moving back to West Jordan next weekend. We are really going to miss all our good friends in Logan.
